BOSTON BULLDOG MIX. Richie is a love tank- built like a tank and overflowing with love! He's a little hand shy and frightened by loud noises, which makes me think he was not treated well in his past. Perhaps that is why he seems so desperate for affection and why he tries so hard to make people love him. He gets very excited when people pay attention to him. Richie is a happy go lucky kind of guy with a Cheshire cat kind of grin and a charming personality. On our walks he prances with his head held high, swaggering like a bulldog. He's a bit socially inept in "dogdom". He's excited, pushy and too forward with other dogs for their comfort so it would be best for Richie to be an only dog. No experience with cats. The Boston Bulldog shares Richie's unique look and I'm guessing that breed is part of his heritage. He is 3-4 yrs old, weighs 67 lbs. and is healthy, neutered, and UTD with shots. He enjoys a good body rub, riding into town shotgun in my car, and long walks on winding country roads. He loves chewing on fresh marrow bones, rawhide, and the like. Rich sits on command and takes treats gently. He's a bit "over-the-top" with his excited affection so he'd be best with only older kids even though he's never shown any aggression. If you are looking to adopt a loving, devoted, affectionate, and enthusiastic companion Richie might be right for you!
