Border Collie - Lola - Medium - Senior - Female - Dog
Lola's owner left her at a high kill shelter because the infection in both ears was out of control. The shelter staff shaved both sides of her head and her ears in order to clean her up. Poor, sweet Lola was in such pain and yet she remained friendly and gentle. My vet took one look at her and decided to perform surgery on both ears immediately. She is healing beautifully and is ready to start looking for that special someone to take her home. Lola weighs about 35 lbs. She's very quiet, low key and mild mannered in the house. Very good around my mom in her wheel chair. She's an energetic walker and enjoys being taken for a walk or a ride in the car. She's ok with most other dogs, but chases cats. Lola is a very sweet girl with a lot left to give! She loves to roll in the grass, chew on bones and rawhide. No real issues and will make a great addition to a family.
